1. Change up your location
Sitting at the same place all day, every day can get monotonous and boring. So, if you’re able to switch up your location, do it! A change of scenery will help you stay focused while also let the creative juices flow. Grab that laptop or tablet and try taking your next call in a different spot!
2. Get fresh air 15 minutes before your meeting
Before your virtual meeting, step out and get some fresh air. Studies have shown that taking breaks can lead to an increase in productivity, so 15 minutes before your next meeting get out, go for a short walk, enjoy nature, do breathing exercises, or do a couple of stretches to get you in the right mindset for your Zoom meeting.
3. Avoid multitasking during a call
It’s easy to think about all the things you have to do during a virtual call, but try to avoid multitasking or working on other things during the meeting. Multitasking will only distract you and keep you from fully focusing on the topics being discussed during the call. Save those other tasks for after the Zoom meeting.
